Our Mission

Inspiring The Creative Life Force In All Beings!

We serve to awaken the divinity in our guests as the creators of their lives. We teach people how to live in harmony with the Earth, how to connect with Nature, and how to live from the heart. We encourage people to sing their Heart Song, share their truth, reconnect to their inner-child, live authentically, and be their full unique expression. To remind people the sacredness of all, and reconnect to their spiritual essence. Through yoga, permaculture, community and ceremony we create a safe container to calm the mind and open the heart!

Through transformational experiences, plant-based diet, yoga, and community we co-create a sustainable and regenerative way of living. We strive to have a lasting positive impact on all who come to this sacred land. Our guests leave inspired to spread the love and healing to their local communites, thus co-creating a new way of being… a New Earth! Lastly, by working with our local staff, we support the Tzʼutujil Mayan community by providing education, jobs, resources, and a loving international family.

How do I get to the Mystical Yoga Farm?

We are located on Lake Atitlan, in Guatemala, in a remote, off-grid location only accessible by boat! The nearest town is Santiago. Don’t worry, it’s easier to get here than it sounds!

How is your Yoga Teacher Training Program?

SYI’s yoga teacher training curriculum is focused on a well-rounded and holistic curriculum encompassing all things yoga and spirituality. With a strong emphasis on Meditation, Anatomy, Alignment, Sequencing, Yogic Philosphy, Ayurveda, Mantra, and more. There is also a special influence of shamanism and ceremony woven throughout the journey! This provides students with a unique and spiritually driven course that goes beyond just a certification!

This is truly a special YTT program unlike any other. It is beautifully woven to give students everything they need to be great yoga teachers, confident spaceholders, and the leaders the world needs. MYF loves hosting these magical trainings with SYI and we truly witness the transformation that occurs everytime!

And get to experience the magick of the Mystical Yoga Farm community, filled with art, focused on sustainability, with heart opened volunteers and staff that welcome you in as family. We are more than a retreat center, we are a family, and most of all… A Community!

On this profound journey, you will earn your Yoga Alliance RYT 200 certification.
At SYI’s teacher training program at the Mystical Yoga Farm, you’ll fill your body with vegan superfoods while you have the opportunity to learn the multifaceted aspects that come along with living in a self-sustaining environment. While at the farm, you’ll learn about the importance of community, ceremony and disconnecting from all the noise in which distracts us from hearing our inner voice.

Do you have Volunteer Program?

There is always space for karma yogi volunteers and limited space for WorkTrade opportunities, they both have different arrangements so please be specific in what you are looking to fill!
We offer unique immersive life changing volunteer opportunities and we function as a community, a family, and a team united through a common goal of service and helping others.

What are your signature offerings at MYF?

In addition to all the retreats and traingings we host, we have a variety of signature offerings led by our core MYF members, staff, and trusted facilitators. These are truly the best times to experience the medicine of MYF!

HeartSong is a sister project by our owners, Jah and Sunny, focused on awakening the heart in all through medicine music, singalongs, and mantras. HeartSong Singing Festival in Jan, HeartSong Singing Retreat in July, HeartSong Plant Medicine Retreat in Jan & July. These are special retreats focused on devotional music, plant medicine, cacao, self healing, and community.
We host a Light Leadership Residency every may, a 3 week retreat focused on transforming light workers into light leaders. Ceremony, Spaceholding, Cacao, Sound Healing, Devotional Music, Yoga and Community!

What makes Mystical Yoga Farm different from other retreat centers?

MYF is far more than a retreat center, we are a living, thriving community of heart-centered beings. We have a nomadic intentional community, an in depth volunteer program, and a wonderful crew of permanent global members/staff. People from around the world live and work here to learn, grow, share space, open their hearts, release negativity, and connect with their inner child. Most retreat centers are missing this key element of community.

We are secluded out in nature with more trees than buildings! We are 100% Zero Waste, and off-grid with an in depth permaculture program teaching people to live in harmony with Mother Earth. Our no wifi leaves the energy of nature in it’s prime, to truly connect with Nature’s beauty and your true spirit essence! (don’t worry if you need to work online you can get a local SIM card easily.)

We are also a beautiful creative sanctuary! Featuring over 100 murals, many mosaics, loads of statues & carvings, lots of cute crafts and spiritual tools. Every corner of the farm is creatively crafted and mindfully put together to inspire creativity for all, and empower everyone to create beauty! Every room has interior and exterior art, giving you a truly unique experience to remember forever.

Another thing that makes us unique from other spiritual centers is that we love to incorporate playfulness, silliness and inner-child work here. Sometimes the spiritual path is so serious, we believe it can also be FUN! We have the perfect balance of sacred and silly. There are definitely times when we are focused, serious and intentional with our practices. And other times, we invite play in. Inspiring others to truly embody these spiritual teachings!
